If anything of the legendary DT 880 could have been improved, it has been realised with this version. This top headphone combines the strengths of open and closed headphones. The complete sound spectrum is reproduced in detail from the deepest sub bass to the highest highs. This semi-open, dynamic headphone is also manufactured in Germany. The present version with 600 Ohms is suitable for the use with with purpose-built headphone amplifiers. For the use with hifi-systems (even with typically designed headphones out) we rather recommend the version with 250 Ohms. For the use with portable devices we recommend the 32 Ohms version.
