in the tray and hydrate until fully expanded and you are ready to sow. Excess water will drain out through the holes in the base of the tray. The coco planks are washed, buffered and ready to use, according to RHP standards. Trays have drainage holes but once the coco plank is expanded it holds significant water and very little additional water is needed for germination. If you wish for a larger area for bigger dogs the kits can just be stacked against one another creating a larger lawn area.
