Manhattan Clamshell Backfile is part of our professional bag range. The extreme sturdiness of this bag ensures optimal protection for your laptop. The bag is made mainly from 1680D nylon, a material which is durable and soft to the touch. This bag is called a Clamshell bag because the zipper allows it to open up completely, going around the structural frame of the bag.This system allows you to secure your computer in the bag more easily using a Velcro strap that will encase your laptop and prevent it from falling out of the bag if it is opened suddenly.


Compartments

In addition to the features of the classic Manhattan Clamshell, the Backfile model has an extra compartment, allowing you to carry all your documents, as well as your belongings. This modern and assertive style (reflected across our Manhattan range) was fully developed by our designers in our creative studio in Paris.


Design

It is designed to provide optimal protection for your laptop with reinforced honeycomb interior protection around the entire metal frame, in addition to EVA screen protection. You will also find a compartment secured with Velcro designed for your tablet.. This honeycomb reinforced interior protection has been developed by our designers in partnership with specialist textile engineers.


Convenience

A large front storage pocket gives easy access to your mobile phone, pens, business cards, chargers, etc. This means you can organise your storage space as you wish. There is also a trolley strap on the reverse of this bag, which is very convenient for carrying your bag and trolley with one hand.Our designers have also worked on the ergonomics of the carrying handle, making it more suitable for heavy loads. The handle is also reinforced with metal rivets.


Strength

The metal buckle used to secure the carrying strap can support a load of up to 70 kg, making it virtually unbreakable.
